    Musings from my life:

    • "Oooooh, Yower" Louise, when we hoist her up to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from our kitchen window.
    • "When did they conspire to no longer take an afternoon nap?" Me. Desperate.
    • "Louise has a butt, not a zizi" Gab, in the bath with his sister
    • "They spread chaos in less than a minute" Etienne, as the kids dive into their toy basket

    What's on your fridge?

    Front, originally uploaded by afoos.

Inspired by these lovely ladies, I decided to analyze my fridge as well. Nothing very interesting, but we keep it decorated with various items. Some long term, some a couple of days, but there's always something on the fridge.

My boyfriend actually hates all the magnets I have on our refrigerator, but I like them because they add a bit of quirkiness and a nice, unique feel to the kitchen. And I'd like to someday have some kids' drawings on there, and stuff like that, like when I was a child back home... But now I have lots of postcards and the occasional photo, but it doesn't change all that often. I add the postcards on, but I probably should remove a few as well, because the frigo is getting a bit overwhelmed!

Andie, I am trying to figure out why my and Beth's beautiful Save the Date card is being covered up on your fridge. what's up with that?

Tony, I don't really understand- would you prefer for me to put it away and not display it at all? When I received it in the mail, I used the magnet I had free on the fridge and didn't really think twice about it. You know, the hectic lives we live with two little kids and having a million other priorities, that last thing I have time for is to rearrange the magnets on my fridge so that they will fit what I have to display. Gab's Easter egg is also hidden by a larger magnet and his artwork is just as important to me. Instead of looking at the glass half empty, try imagining that I did take the time to think about displaying your Save the Date card and that it was in no way my intention to cover it up.

Andie, a chill pill is in order for you. The magnet comment was.......a joke. Sorry you didn't take it that way. I want you to do whatever you would like to do with our Save the Date card. Keep it, trash it, display it on your front door. Whatever you would like to do is perfectly fine with me.
