Tomorrow's Menu
I've just come up with tomorrow's menu and will start shopping and cooking this afternoon:
A bird (hopefully, I can get something resembling a turkey but it might just be a chicken)
Sweet potato and cranberry bake
Green bean casserole
Swiss chard with craisins and pinenuts
Cucumber salad
Mashed potatoes
Pecan pie
E's family's traditional birthday cake
For the pecan pie, I found a recipe with honey instead of corn syrup- thanks for the advice!
take pics of all, si vous plait. i think i'd like the sweet tater & cranberry dish recipe.
love to you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, too!! I am glad you are passing on one of our VERY BEST U.S. holiday/tradition to your kids! I am also keeping the tradition here.. It's my FIRST in France!! I was wondering though... where can I find fresh cranberries.. some sources say Monoprix and I refuse to go to the expensive store in Paris that sells American products UNLESS I have to!! Also, what is the name for Swiss chard in French? Is it called bette? I haven't really found it here... I would LOVE to find some, though!! Thanks and enjoy!!! --- Leesa
