    Musings from my life:

    • "Oooooh, Yower" Louise, when we hoist her up to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from our kitchen window.
    • "When did they conspire to no longer take an afternoon nap?" Me. Desperate.
    • "Louise has a butt, not a zizi" Gab, in the bath with his sister
    • "They spread chaos in less than a minute" Etienne, as the kids dive into their toy basket

    The Good and the Bad

    Good things about today:

Just received my Etsy order of earrings- all 8 pairs! No spending, right? That was LAST week, the no spending starts this week!

Etienne and I watched Shut up and Sing and I am now rehooked on the Dixie Chicks.

Have made 4 batches of yogurt in 2 days.

I have time to blog and to cook this week.

Painted the two staircases for our bed and things are slowly coming together.

A break from school is nice.

    Bad things about today

I need to ban myself from Etsy.

After 3 phone calls with 2 very unpleasant employees of the French administration (one of whom hung up on me and one of whom made me cry on the phone she was so unpleasant), we learned that just because I didn't know that I needed to do something by a certain date, we lost 2000 dollars. We're going to fight it, letter by letter. Welcome to France. But, hey, at least in France you have social protection. In the US, I wouldn't even have 2000 dollars to be fighting for!
